TESTING GLITTER EYESHADOW PALETTE!

Posted on by Sheela Herlan

With the wide variety of eyeshadows in the market today, I cannot afford to have unattractive eyes and neither should you.

For this reason, I am always on the search of the next better product to use on my face and eyes for that matter.

The glitter eyeshadows have a way of making me stand out in a crowd. In addition, it gives me the freedom to express how I feel.

Application

With the normal single loose glitters, I usually use adhesives for the glitters to stick and not fall out.

With 24 different glitters to choose from, had a rough time deciding which one to try, but gold it was finally. Your decision can also be informed by the color combination of your outfit.

Due to my doubts about the glitter eyeshadow palette, I decided to use a concealer anyway, to create a base for the glitter and at the same time to prevent it from falling out. Afterwards, I deepen out the corners of the eyes using the darker shadows from the palette.

The choice of the color to use should be based on your skin color, and of course by how crazy you can be. In my case, the darker colors blended well with my skin tone and color.

Initially, swapping the brush on the glitter pop does not pick up the glitters. However, deepening the brush a little does the magic.

The pops have some sort of cream in them, which makes the glitters to stick immediately and the brush is left without any glitters after application, allowing you to use the same brush for another shadow.

The brush and the eyeshadows perfectly complement each other, as I do not struggle with the application. Of course, there are some spills but it is never that serious as I can easily wipe them away.

To finish it up, I use the darker shadows on the lower parts of the eyes. However, the pallet has so many colors to choose from, so you can go for whichever color you feel like.

Why this particular glitter eyeshadow palette?

To begin with, it is convenient for travel. It’s small enough to fit in most of my handbags. At the same time, it is surprisingly cheap.

The normal glitter eyeshadows that I have used before cost me close to $8 each, but now I get 24 different eyeshadow colors for only $30.

The ease of application and the fact that I do not have to use adhesives is a plus for me.
