One of the most frequent questions that beginners have for makeup artists is how to get the right angles for the perfect highlight and contour.
So far, I've learned that a lot of what it depends on the brush set you use and that's why this oval brush set is totally one of my new favorites.
Bad makeup days happen... we've all been there. Standing in front of the mirror and obsessing over whether you've got your lines defined correctly and use just the right amount of product. Only to end up with disastrous streaks and uneven makeup that reveals your blunders in different lighting. But who ever said highlighting and contouring had to be so technical or difficult?
Women like myself with naturally round or oval faces will find that this perfectly affordable oval brush set changes their makeup game. Forget about having problems with no cheekbones to highlight or contour and buying the most expensive makeup products just to look good!!
Trust me, I identify with the struggle too as I have searched hard and long for the perfect brand of makeup brushes that won’t cut too deep into my pockets.
In one word, everything…
This 10-piece brush set has a round shape design that makes it especially easy to blend in foundation, powder, and blush perfectly. Its style is uniquely designed to suit all face shapes and works towards enhancing your best features, not against them.
Because its bristles have great density and are tiny, you save a lot of product (Yes, more savings) during application and still get to create that flawless look you desire. The different brush sizes help you get the right coverage and ensure the final outcome is presentable and even.
Spreading the product onto your face evenly instead of absorbing some, means less money is spent on purchasing makeup and more money is saved.
Professional makeup application doesn’t have to mean spending lots of money to hire someone or paying premium prices for brush sets that don’t work much better than this.
After applying your primer and makeup, spritz the brush with water and smooth the makeup onto your skin until an even effect is achieved with proper coverage for blemishes.
Once again, there is no need for an excessive use of product! The brushes in this set spread the makeup as effectively as possible without absorbing it.

As you can see, using the smaller brushes gives you more control over the application of lighter products, such as the highlighter, and larger brushes in the set work to blend and even the makeup so you are left with a clean, professional look!
This emphasis on precision allows you to contour dazzling cheekbones while still creating well put together style.
It's safe to say that everybody's loving this oval brush set from Cleof! If you’re tired of your round or oval shape not being able to get you the right structure from a highlight and contour, then don’t settle for low quality.
This brush set in rose gold has all the va-va-voom you want, plus it delivers the professionalism of any higher end set without breaking the bank. So go on, get it...
And contour to your heart’s content!

Beginner-friendly tutorials sometimes forget that when you're starting out and don't have much of a clue what's what or are just new to the makeup game... you don't really want to shell out $50 on a brush. Not even if it's called Sigma and supposedly the alpha of makeup brushes.
Women everywhere love to look good and stay on top of trends. Quite frankly, I feel it's in all of our DNA, but some people feel left behind because of unaffordable prices. Truth is, it doesn't have to be as expensive as you think.
Yes, some of the big brands like Mac or Sephora will sell you into spending hundreds of dollars but demystifying how expensive it is to get professional looks, is what I've come to love about being a makeup artist.
Stunting on everyone on a budget (which in this case involves doing sleek and attractive makeup) can be quite easy once you know exactly where to look for the best products.
Okay, maybe it's more like wooden seeing as they're made out of bamboo. I was feeling myself a little bit there so please don't kill my vibe.
I'm a big fan of saving as many pennies I can, yet making sure I get the best possible quality. So, you can imagine my excitement when a friend and fellow MUA told me about these brushes. She talked them up so much, I knew I had to get them and try the set out for myself.
An even bigger selling point for me was the fact that these brushes were eco-friendly and vegan. (They're made from renewable bamboo with no animal testing). Unbelievable right? Cheap, cruelty-free, vegan brushes. Whowudathought?
The first time I used that soft Angle Shadow Brush and made my bags disappear in seconds,
I was looking at the mirror like...
After I decided to order this brush set, I wasn't too worried because they were pretty cheap. So, I didn't get my hopes up that high. Safe to say I was pleasantly surprised in the end.
The brushes were at my door in no time. I opened the package and saw there is something different. That different thing was softness, as soon as I touch them I began to feel fluffiness. The packaged arrived in good condition so that was great, as all the brushes were intact. For starters, I was happy to see they felt pleasant to touch before I even used them on my face.
The brushes come nicely put together in a small, attractive bag, which can be used to store them or for travelling.
Included in the brush set are 11 different sized brushes with bamboo handles that are sturdy and good looking. They all feel quite nice to hold and the grip is good giving you more control as you get that product over your face.
Take a look at Youtuber Brittany's (from the Coffee & Makeup Channel) unboxing video where she shares her opinion of these brushes below:
As you can see, there are two kabuki brushes, the big one with a flat top which is great for applying foundation in an airbrush style that really gives you full coverage, as well as the round top kabuki. I find that the latter is perfect for blush. Additionally, I love using the two angled brushes, a shadow brush for eye primer or shadow and a liner brush which is a bit smaller and intended for liquid liners.
Depending on what your usual routine is, you may also use these brushes: the paddle foundation, concealer and mascara brush. Once you’re all done and need to blend the product for a nice finish or pat the face down with some powder to reduce oil, both the larger blending brush and powder brush work great for this as Brit shows.
I know a lot of people are skeptical about cheap brushes, and worry about how they feel on the skin or whether their bristles shed too much. My experience with this set has been absolutely great! Honestly, for its low price and great warranty, it has to be a steal for any makeup lover.
But ladies, try the set yourself and let us know what you think...
